Hurlburt Field’s Outdoor Recreation and Marina are located across from Hurlburt Field’s main gate, adjacent to the Soundside housing area. Outdoor Recreation oversees an array of activities, these are: The Marina, FAMCamp, Rifle and Pistol Club, Dive Shop, Aquatic Center, Picnic grounds, Lil’ Commando Community Park Pavilions, Beachside Pagodas, RV storage lots, Specialized Trips and Classes.

Rentals
Closed all federal holidays during the fall/winter hours.
For your convenience we also have an extended list of rentals. Our rentals include, camping equipment, one and two-person kayaks, canoes, motorized watercraft, water sports equipment, grills, trailers and travel trailers. Please refer to our brochure for a complete listing of items. A $50.00 fee is needed to reserve our boats. There is a 72 hour cancellation fee.
A valid non-expired NASBLA certified boating safety course is required for all motorized watercrafts. This can be completed online at www.courses.boatus.org at no cost and a 90-day certificate will be available upon completion. A lifetime certification card can be provided upon completion by request. The card option is the favorable solution as it is the only way to get the lifetime certification. You will need to complete the general boating course for the state of Florida. When you check-in for your reservation, your valid non-expired boating safety course certificate or card and your DoD ID card are required for check-out. Any person/s operating one of our watercrafts are required to possess both.
Additionally, if you are looking for something special for your next squadron picnic, family reunion, beachside wedding or retirement party check out our pagodas. Restrictions do apply and reservations are required, please contact us directly for specific details.

Marina
Located next to Outdoor Recreation, the Hurlburt Field Marina provides convenient access to the water with boat rentals, fishing opportunities, and recreational equipment for your next adventure. Whether you’re heading out for a day on the water, enjoying a quiet fishing spot, or exploring the local waterways, our Marina has the resources you need.
The Marina features a boat launch ramp, limited temporary wet slips, and nightly boat trailer parking available for a minimal fee. Guests can enjoy the peaceful waterfront pier, perfect for early morning or evening fishing.
Our rental fleet includes 20-foot pontoon boats and 17-foot center console boats, along with water sports equipment and fishing gear rentals. The Marina also offers bait, ice, and gasoline for purchase to help make your day on the water convenient and enjoyable.

Now nestled inside Outdoor Recreation at 100 Corlew Rd, the Dive Shop offers year ‘round open water certification and specialty classes at reasonable fees. Our retail shop sells all the basics (and more) in quality equipment as well as rentals if you are not quite sure about your commitment level.
KT's Kraken Tiki Bar
KT’s Kraken Tiki Bar is located beachside at the Hurlburt Field Outdoor Recreation Marina with views of the sound and boat slips! As a Hurlburt Field favorite stop, you may join many looking for an afternoon sip or night cap. The breeze is amazing, conversation even better! KT’s Kraken Tiki is open for business Fri-Sun. The venue is also available to rent for parties, retirements, and any celebration, call 850-884-7507 to check availability. Hours are subject to weather and seasonal change.
