What Is Unite?

UNITE provides Commanders/Directors with funding to execute programs that will benefit all members in their unit to include Active Duty, Reservists, and APF/NAF civilians. Family members may participate, at the discretion of the unit CC/Director. To receive these funds, which cover food allowance and recreation funds, commanders or appointed POCs must submit a UNITE Event Proposal Form to Melanie Lerman, your Community Cohesion Coordinator (C3).

Host Your Unite Event In 5 Easy Steps!

  1. Complete the POC Appointment Letter
    Squadron Commanders will appoint squadron UNITE POC(s). Commanders and POCs are the only people who can submit or make changes for the event. Email completed forms to Melanie.lerman.1@us.af.mil.
  2. Event Request
    Submit an Event Proposal Form with details for your event. Generally requests are due 14 days in advance, there are circumstances where 30 days is necessary, this info is covered in POC training.
  3. Event Prep
    Once event is approved, confirm date/time with venue, and coordinate date/time to complete purchases with your C3.
  4. Have Fun At Your Event!
  5. Submit After Action Report and Photos
    The installation C3 may not be able to attend your UNITE events, so we are relying on you to provide detailed after-action information and a minimum of 3 photos within 5 business days of your event. This information is what keeps the funding coming and is very important!
