World Book Day Costume Contest

Join Us for a Fun Costume & Book Celebration!
Date & Time:
• Program begins at 4:30 PM
• Costume contest starts at 5:00 PM
Categories:
• Kids (0-12)
• Teens (13-17)
• Adults (18+)
Prizes:
1 winner per category gets a gift card!
*Must remain in the library during judges’ deliberation to be considered for a prize*
Activities:
Active Stations (staff/volunteer monitored):
Mini Book Crafting, Cat in the Hat ring toss
Passive Stations (do on your own):
Book cover photo booth, Literary scavenger hunt, Bookface Challenge, Library Mad Libs
*You don’t have to participate in the contest to be able to participate in the activity stations*
Contest Details:
• Sign-in at 4:30 PM (include name, costume, and book)
• Present your costume and book inspiration with a brief introduction and why you chose that character
• Remain at the library for prize announcement and group photo
Event Schedule:
• 4:30 PM: Sign-in & Activities
• 5:00 PM: Costume Contest (Kids, Teens, Adults)
• 6:00 PM: Program ends, activity stations remain open until close (7:00pm)
