NOTICE: The temporary entrance/exit to the Soundside Club off Purcell is now CLOSED.
There is no longer a guard post in the Soundside club parking lot. Traffic must now process straight through Gate 3 (Soundside Gate) on Whitbeck, proceed to the roundabout, and take the left exit to reach the Soundside parking lot. This is the new and permanent route. See the attached map.
Availability
The Commando Inn lodging facility offers 243 Visiting Officer Quarters, 8 General Officer (O7+) Quarters, and 24 Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLF's).
Military personnel, civilian employees and authorized contractors on official TDY to Hurlburt Field may make reservations anytime; if rooms are not available for official travel, lodging will arrange local commercial quarters. Space-available reservations may also be requested in advance, Management reserves the right to schedule Space Available dependent upon percentage of Occupancy.
Military personnel in a PCS status, whether arriving or departing Hurlburt Field, may make TLF reservations anytime. In CONUS, civilian personnel are considered under our space-available policies for rooms.
VQ rooms are reserved only for adults/Military personnel traveling with children may inquire about TLF's.
